I don't want to leave the castle. I have had my adventure and it was everything I could have ever wanted. [She frowns, stubborn on this one point:] I won't leave him. I know I did before for Papa, but that was necessary. This is on your whim and that is different.

Ah, but did you not seek adventure in the "great wide somewhere"? Surely a mere castle cannot be an entire adventure unto itself.

I did and I found castle under a spell. The spell has been broken and I want to spend as much time with everyone as possible. Adventure can be found anywhere if you know where to look!

Then by all means, bring them along! SOMEONE is enspelling these castles of yours, yes? Doubtless the search for your sorcerous culprit shall require far travel through harrowing dangers, mysterious enchantment to outwit, secret trials of character by mystic forces unknown, and a grand climactic confrontation atop a raging waterfall of flames stretching at least a thousand feet deep!

Now THAT surely would be considered as a grand adventure. Why stop at completing Part 1?

The spell changed my husband for the better. I don't think the sorceress wanted him to come to real harm. She wanted him to learn a lesson. [A rather harsh one, she admits, but he was a difficult student.] I am not angry at her and neither is he. A confrontation of that sort wouldn't better our lives.

[It might end them instead.]
