I know I'm a day late, but Thanksgiving made me realize how much I miss Connor. I doubt he or his mun will read this, but he was such a big part of my life for a long time. And I always felt like I was the best version of myself when I was with him. I still think about what life would've been like if we'd ever gotten to what we talked about.

I know things have changed now, and my time in your headspace is pretty much over. I understand that; we accomplished a lot together, and there's only so much you can do. But you have to know that I wouldn't retire. Not now when I'm the only one left. And certainly not without him waiting at the end for me.

So yeah. I miss him. I said it, and now you can put me back in my corner and ignore the fact that I'll be gearing up for Daytona. As far as I'm concerned, neither of us ever left.

Never doubt too much. My mun got super swamped with life stress, but doesn't mean I don't think of you or miss you too.

[Draws her close kissing the top of her head lovingly.]

I'm fine, and the mun is just getting back on track with some things.

I'm just so glad to see you again.

[She wipes at her eyes and nuzzles into his neck.]

I'm glad you're good. So many things have changed since I've seen you. Plus who knows what we would've been doing. I mean...we never did officially get engaged.

We can do all of that and see where we do end up if you'll still have me.

Of course I'll still have you. Connor, the only thing I'm missing in my life is being your wife. And maybe having a little baby Rhodes running around.

We should talk. Figure everything out. Because I think I would've made some different choices with you around. Without you here I kind of just went all in on my career.
