I do not understand.

Why would I require a lightsaber when Excalibur is a superior blade? [ Clearly, this is Jedi Order is nothing like her Round Table. ] I am aware that the former is more circumstantial appropriate than my sword, nonetheless I do not see the gain in downgrading my weapon for the sake of aesthetics.

That swords like an excellent sword, in that case. [And he knows a lot about swords. He makes about fifty of them per fight.] But I've never seen a reason for attachment to a particular blade, so I can't comment.

I can't imagine that sort of thinking in a real battle...

[OOC: Wow, should have been: That SOUNDS like an excellent sword. Whoops, this is why I shouldn't tag at one in the morning.]
charge_sword: ('Cos that makes sense.)

True, underhanded tactics are to be discouraged, but equipment can't be truly equal across both sides.

I disagree. If an opponent wishes to challenge me, it's up to them how they conduct themselves. If they want to fight with fists, firearms or fangs, I'll comply. You can't make decisions for anyone, least of all your enemies.

That's a bit extreme, isn't it?

It just sounds so...bizarre. Like there could be anything noble in it.

I simply can't recall ever seeing anything glorious in killing. It's just death. I've been told honour exists in it, but I can't picture it.
