We've had our fun. So drop it. Your foolish hopes of finding anyone else from my world are ridiculous at best. It's been years. I was, I was barely relevant then, even less so now.

In my experience they leave themselves un-open to convincing. There's only what they can persuade themselves to do and, of course, boredom.

Yes. There is definitely an element of boredom involved here. And a resistance to change.

But it's nice to see, nice to see a familiar face. Even under the circumstances that we've met.
