I am glad that you enjoyed the movie but I do not like Scotch. You know this. It was made by a little old lady in Leningrad. Why would I want to drink it? Scotty can have his little old lady drink.

Good man. I will no doubt have to be shown the error of my ways. I came form a backwater town in Iowa, so once you've had the worst, everything tastes pretty great.

And Andorian varieties really don't hold a candle to the Earth labels.

I will neither confirm nor deny drinking on my own, Ensign. But I will take you up on that offer.

I'd also offer to reciprocate, but Iowa isn't exactly known for it's stunning distilleries of quality brew. Might recommend a few beers I'm partial to, though.

With all due respect and no intentions of sounding racist, Ensign. You're Russian. I didn't assume you would be a light drinker.

[Jim's always the first one drunk out of his friends anyway. Spock barely feels it ever and McCoy drinks like the Southern Doctor he is. He's used to it.]
