No one is created for a singular purpose, especially here. You have the power to make your own choices and to have a life of your own. This place, not unlike Enterprise, will be the better for having you in it.

Your words warms my heart T'Pol. I'd hope I get t' experience life a little more while 'round here. Heck, a lot more. Not completely sure how he's supposed t' deal with the whole fifteen days thingy. [He shrugs.] I guess I'll find out.

It has been my experience that the rules which govern time and space in our own reality are rarely a factor here. For instance there are multiple versions of myself. If that is the case then there should be no reason you cannot exist past any anticipated date of expiration.

That's true. If you were of the philosophical kind I guess you could argue what builds a personality, memories or experiences? But I've never been one of those. I guess knowing what your purpose is helps.

Would I've liked a few more days or more? Yes, I would have. But there wasn't really any other options.

Fair enough. Still I feel like duration would increase impact. I might have saved Enterprise once but Trip has done more than that.

Others have informed me that I sound like an automaton. [It's quite an upgrade from that to a respected sentient species, which probably helps explain why she took "Vulcan" as a compliment.] I am Human. I was Borg.
