Voice testing the Warrior of Light from FFXIV!

Simply because you've been journeying around Eorzea as me for a year doesn't necessarily give you the ability to truly speak as me. A "/playtime of 55 days"--whatever that means--isn't exactly a qualification for anything but your talent of staying indoors.

Still. I have to give credit to you for trying. It's more than you have managed in a very long time, and I'll begrudgingly respect you getting over your fears.

I'm not as simple as people might think. In a way, this will be a journey of exploration, won't it? Both in a new world and for myself.

A Warrior of Light's adventure is never over.

Oh whoa!! You're a Warrior of Light? Is that anything like being a Light Warrior?

A Light Warrior? I haven't exactly heard it called that before, exactly... The terminology Eorzea seems to use for myself is "Warrior of Light".

Hmmmm! Well, I've never heard of Eorzea so I guess we're even. [Fighter how is that remotely even?]

What kind of stuff do you do? Maybe it's still the same thing.

I fight. I protect Eorzea, my land. The enemies seem to be getting greater and greater, but I must persevere.

So you're a hero like me, then! Do you like swords?

[punchwizard]

They're fine enough weapons, but I prefer to fight with my fists.

Oh? You're a hero as well?

[swordaholic]

Martial arts, huh? My friend Black Belt was good at that.

Yeah! Me and my friends are on a quest to save the world!! It's pretty awesome.

[punchwizard]

Awesome, hm? That's...certainly one word for it.

[swordaholic]

Is that not what you'd call it?

It--can be difficult, but...you're right. I guess that I can say that I have done some pretty awesome things while adventuring.

It's tough but that's what makes us the heroes! [He smiles widely.] You gotta tell me about some of your adventures! We can swap stories!!

I wouldn't even know where to begin. Defeating primals, repelling the Empire, helping to overthrow the ruler of Ishgard...

[Well. Considering what, or rather who she lost in the last one, it's not something she cares to discuss all that much.]

I did once fight against a summoned version of a legendary moogle king. That was...quite a battle, between him and his minions. A bunch of furballs, really, but dangerous ones. You would never think moogles would have it in them to be such fierce fighters. [They were tempered, of course, but even so!]

More than most, I know this. Of course, you know this as well.

[But no, a Warrior of Light cannot be seen despairing so much.]

"A smile better suits a hero", I was told. I suppose...we must continue our journeys where we can, and create new beginnings where there have been endings.

[She smiles weakly, though it's a bit forced.]

Well, if it is new beginnings you seek, you might consider joining myself and some companions here. I fear we tend to be around only at the start of each month, but...

I want to make more icons, but that means ponying up for a fantasia to go back to Highlander :(
