Canon is ABC Family's Baby Daddy (X-posted to [community profile] dear_player)

So... what now? You went ahead and made the account against your better judgment. And that's coming from me. What'll you throw me into? Your past history is not really reassuring nor is your doubts on your grasp of my "voice". Whatever that means.

Oh you thought I would try to reassure you? Uh you have seen how my family interact have you? First they throw the worst things at you, then they comfort you.

Well as long I got Emma with me I'll be okay.

Even though it would help to have mom, Danny, Riley or even Tucker around.

Usually mine opts for vengeance instead of comfort, but otherwise, not so different.

[not that he'd like to cry on father's shoulder anyway, as it would certainly be an uncomfortable experience for both of them. tyrion, perhaps slightly less so, but still quite awkward. and cersei, well, perhaps closer to the original statement, but that was different.]

[for an instant there's an instinctive expression on his face that can only be described as disdain that a commoner is trying to touch him, combined with the surprise that handshakes are hardly common greetings among either knights or nobility.]

[but the offered hand isn't a slight. this man-- boy, really, despite his age --genuinely seems to have no idea who Jaime is, despite his gilded armor and blatantly Lannister features. if this is truly a meeting place of worlds, he likely won't know the name 'Lannister' at all. what a strange feeling.]

Ser Jaime Lannister.

[and he, after a moment of difficulty, extends his hand for a shake and smiles. he will not refuse well-intended courtesies.]

So you have just the one brother, then?

I am. But I'm also a sworn brother of the Kingsguard, which includes, among other things, an oath of celibacy and the forgoing of marriage. So women's love of valiant men in armor does me little good.

I have a brother, younger by a good few years, and a twin sister. No, the brother isn't a knight, he was never much good at anything... physical.
