still homeless ;_;

Mundane. A word, if I may.

Now. Credit where credit is due, you've been attentive in seeing that I have room to conduct my affairs, while we both await the end of this year's story and I find myself a more permanent home.

Oh, I wouldn't start looking pleased with myself just yet.

I believe I was quite specific in my requests for my placement. Namely that romance and...activities associated with it are to be avoided at all costs. And yet here we are, two out of two encounters later. Not off to a very good start, are we? Luckily I am not without a certain measure of understanding. I trust you know what to do about this. We wouldn't want your poor choices to result in anything unpleasant, would we?

Of course not. I didn't think we did.

So glad we could have this little chat.

Romance? You?

Seriously?

A little bit. I mean, if I was going to imagine you and love in the same sentence it would be like...

You rolling around in a pile of money and other people's stuff.

So since I'm already not going to be able to sleep tonight, or maybe even eat, who or what are you romancing?

Never your fault, right?
libraritology: (They were never heard from again.)

Awww, Grumplestilskin.

[Evelyn is a closeted romantic, but she's certainly got better things to do than moon over people or herald the benefits of affection around someone who seems so vehemently opposed to it.]

Your mun isn't trying to force you into some kind of relationship, are they?

[Because if that's the case, then goodness, she doesn't blame him a bit. People are supposed to fall in love naturally, anyway.]
libraritology: (Are you quite sure?)

[personal profile] libraritology 2012-03-25 08:01 pm (UTC)(link)
So they're just running roughshod over your protests?

[That sounds familiar.]

That seems terribly unfair, I'm sorry to hear that.
libraritology: (I beg your pardon.)

[Sounds like a business crisis, actually. Agreements and contract-things and all that.]

What sort of business are you in, if you don't mind my asking?
libraritology: (Somehow I don't believe you.)

[personal profile] libraritology 2012-03-26 05:57 pm (UTC)(link)
Anything you want?

[The price she isn't surprised by, although it begs the question as to how much people are willing to pay for certain things.]

That sounds a little too good to be true, if you ask me.
libraritology: (This is some kind of flimflam.)

[personal profile] libraritology 2012-03-29 01:13 am (UTC)(link)
Are you looking for a place to peddle these wares, then?

[Evelyn herself is quite happy with things the way they are, and couldn't ask for more. But she does know people who think otherwise.]
libraritology: (I'm a librarian you know.)

[personal profile] libraritology 2012-03-29 01:19 am (UTC)(link)
...well...I do know a place, if you're looking.

[Filled with plenty of people who probably wouldn't mind looking into acquiring things they want, whatever those things might be.

Evelyn scribbles something down on a slip of paper and hands it to him.
]

It might even be to your tastes, whatever they may be.

[She smiles helpfully.]
libraritology: (You silly thing.)

If you ARE actually interested and have any questions, feel free to PM me! c:

[The smile turns a bit teasing.]

Your excitement is stifling.
