Livelier than reading? My good friend, have you ever taken the time to sample Cardassian literature?

Courage! Intrigue! Selfless devotion! And always a happy ending.

Of course, if you're talking about leaping behind enemy lines, cutting down hundreds of opponents, and eating from your opponent's heart, I suppose Klingon epics might be more to your liking. Personally, I find them a little... graphic.

Oh, then might I recommend a personal favorite of mine? It's called "The Never-Ending Sacrifice."

It follows the lives of seven generations of a Cardassian family, all whom grow up, live selfless lives of devotion to the state, and pass their values on to the next generation. In fact, many consider it the greatest Cardassian novel ever written.
