Missing his friends over in castle_perrault (Canon: Undertale)
[Sans gives that header an almost theatrically dubious look.]
what are talking about, pal? i have plenty of friends over there. even some people from home.
[Except Sans knows exactly what the mun is talking about, and so ducks his head a little as though to avoid looking at the subject directly. One hand gets buried deep in his pockets. The other scratches at his skull.] i mean, yeah...nobody's from my timeline except the human who killed all my friends. but that's, uh, that's not necessarily a bad thing, y'know? bringing anyone else from then here would mean sticking them with that human again. wherever they are...it's gotta be a better situation than that, right?
[Please? Sans' tone, for a moment, is the slightly desperate hopefulness of one who only has hope to fall back on. Then the moment passes, and he just shrugs and sighs.]
but i admire your "dead-i-cation", anyway. and yeah, it'd...it'd be great, to see "my" brother again. [He sticks his other hand in his pocket, and both get clenched tight enough to hurt. His eyelights go a little dimmer.] but if you think i'm a mess now? you'd have to think up whole new words for what would happen if he died on me again.
