It's been a little too long since you've put in a concerted effort to tag with me. The repose was nice, but we both knew it wouldn't last. Perhaps shaking things up a bit is exactly what you need. Looking at options through a fresh pair of eyes- or perhaps five or six- could open up new opportunities. You shouldn't be afraid of slower moving games that are more focused on evoking emotional responses rather than physical ones: you know I'm quite capable of handling both, and I have the canonical depth to alleviate your fears of overstepping some invisible boundary regarding headcanons. You can do this. It requires a bit more thought, naturally, but you've squandered your mind enough. I'll help you remember. You can count on me.

Well, I wouldn't mind the company. But this one might be more troublesome than most.

It is on the short list, if only because you're making a fool of yourself and I consider you a friend worth saving. We're watching to see how things play out between the rescuers and the brainwashed brats. [She winks.] Hopefully there won't be quite so much forced isolation by the time applications open up once again.

I think the rescuers have closer bonds. If anything I should have been in that group. [and why isn't he? Mun interference of course.] But I'm sure you can find companions.

[Robin giggles. Discretely, behind her hand, thus alerting everyone ever to the fact that she is, in fact, giggling.] Ah, well. It is what it is, no? It's alright to need to be saved every once in awhile. Would you write me a song if I joined, Sabo-kun?

I haven't needed to be saved in a long time. [and he made a point of it. People who were saving others sometimes made personal sacrifices and he'd rather not anyone have to go through that for his sake.

In this case, though, it's not as if he has a choice]

Then I suppose you're overdue. The type of song will depend. Something from the heart- whatever pieces of it you may have recovered by then. Ah, but that might be selling out. We certainly can't have that~. [She's one twitch of the lips away from giggling again.]

[if it's from the heart, it isn't selling out. But he's not brave or stupid enough to say that kind of thing out loud. But he can tell she's teasing in a sense so he teases right back]

You mean other than leaving Luffy and the rest of my nakama in the midst of some rather interesting dealings involving Big Mam and travelling through the space-time continuum to a new dimension where I know nothing of the people, politics, or culture to try and blend in and make a living in what ways I can without being found out by an over-powerful cult just to possibly jar a memory or two? I suppose I'll have to think about it. I doubt in your state you'd appreciate an information file on the history and origins of the Charlotte family.

Touche. [he laughs and scratches his cheek] I guess there's no winning against you.

[he smiles at the other]

What makes you think I don't have it already? And more than you have. [he respects you as an archaeologist, but he has resources and contacts spread all over the world]

You should give my congratulations to Mr. Vinsmoke on his marriage.

[She looks thoughtful for a moment.] Hmm. I don't think that will be necessary, though the sentiment is appreciated. His eyes may wander, but he's made it very clear that his heart belongs only to Nami-chan and I. [And maybe some other assholes that don't bear mentioning. Six of them, to be exact. Robin sinks her chin on the back of her hand, a devil's smile on her lips.] We can be rather jealous lovers, you know.

[his eyes widen a bit and then, a bow]

Please don't do anything that I'll have to explain to Luffy later.

[Robin outright laughs. What a ridiculous notion.] It won't be a problem. [Way to take it like a man, though. Wow. Not even a blush? How disappointing.] Though it does make me wonder. Perhaps you'd rather it be Koala who steps across the cosmos to try and find you, hm?

[well he's pretty sure she's teasing still because he can't imagine that kind of thing going on on Luffy's ship. Nor can he imagine Robin engaging in it. It's probably best to keep imagining along that vein probably]

Koala would keep you at Luffy's side. Plus she's highly competent and not accustomed to bizarre threesomes. [at least he hopes she's not...

...but best not to think too much about that either]

I could use her ability. We'll have a lot of people to take care of after I regain my memory.

[What a pity. Robin is the bizarre threesome. And foursome. And however-many-some you could ever hope for.] The key will be catching your attention- and only yours. I wonder how one might go about doing so?
