Attempting a voicetest - Canon is Doctor Who.
Oh, my, my, my...
I wasn't expecting you to go through with this. (She never would have expected the meek little mun to actually go through with a whim, well no, that was actually a lie. When something is this intriguing - you absolutely MUST go through with it.
After all, what kind of life would it be if it wasn't interesting?) What a surprise!
And there's somewhere you want to take me? Now, that right there is where I will draw the line...even though I will admit that it does sound quite interesting. You simply will not be demanding anything - you are in no position to be doing that.
Mind you, I'm going to be calling the shots from here on out. I may be stuck in your head, but that certainly doesn't make me your puppet.
Now, now...tell me about this Genessia-place.

I'm sorry. It doesn't work that way.

These muns are only entirely human, correct? It's easy to get what you want from them. You just need to know what buttons to press and the order.
no subject
[Which is the only time it's acceptable to use people like that, okay.]
no subject
Is there a difference between an enemy and a mun, really and truly? She certainly didn't ask me if I wanted to come along on this little adventure, now did she? I mean, I LOVE an adventure as much as the next girl...but seriously now...
(A shrug, then a slight smile.)
I'm not pretending to be any better than she is. Because, I'm quite not. But, I rather would not be a puppet for a bored little girl unless she can give me some information or money or something useful. Because I'm a busy woman, loads of places to go and beings to see...
no subject
[He shakes his head.]
I wouldn't say they're similar at all. I've seen evil. [Been tortured for days by evil...]
no subject
Ah, you've seen evil? Why then... you should tell me, what is "evil" if being taken against one's will does not count? Is that not evil?
Really, now...I may not have a conscience and I may bend a rule - okay many, many laws here and there, but even I can tell you that kidnapping isn't exactly smiled upon.
no subject
Kidnapping is wrong, yes, but it's not evil.
no subject
Now, mind you, do not expect any better of a compliment from me or for me to make another one again.
So, you know of this place she's considering taking me...she is useless and telling me nothing, but what can you tell me?
no subject
I do. [And if she's not going to talk about it anymore, he's glad to change the subject.]
Genessia's an interesting place, but don't confuse it with the city by the same name. There are also Nova City, Everglade, and Fayren. All of them are drastically different, like walking into a different world.
[And his friendly smile turns into a grin.] The innkeeper in Fayren makes wonderful venison stew.
no subject
(River frowns.)
So, you're telling me there's a city of that name and more cities - but the entirety of the place is called the same as the city. And they are all almost like walking into different worlds, eh? I wonder how that can be... oh, I how I just love a good mystery.
Color me very, very interested now...now I must ask you to tell me what else can you tell me about it? Minus food, though I will keep that in the back of my mind for when I go.
no subject
People say Genessia was created in order to preserve the lives of people who represent what it truly means to be alive, but no one has any information on where it came from.
no subject
Preserve the lives who represent what it truly means to be alive...now that's vague, actually not only that, it's cliche to boot. (A pause.) However...
No one has any information, you say? Not one piece? Not even a tiny clue? (A smile.) Now, that there is a real mystery. If someone found the answers? Well, everyone would benefit, wouldn't they?
(Mun: Behave River. Please don't think about selling anything you find out.)
no subject
We would, yeah. [And he nods.] Are you willing to help?
no subject
If they allow her to bring me there, then just maybe you might be seeing me around. And maybe I might be able to look into this...

(She gives a slightly mischievous grin.)
Pleasantly not-so-surprised to see you around here.

(River shakes her head, a bit miffed.)
But, an unexpected problem arose and somehow I ended up here. By unexpected problem, I mean, one of these mundanes...
So, until she gets bored, guess there's a change in plan. (She might more than miffed, in fact she seems more than a bit cross about it.) Of course, I'll remind her again and only this one more time... I am NOT your puppet! If I'm stuck here I am calling the shots!
(A pause then a slight smile.) And of course, I am interested in the place she mentioned and has now put me... so, fine, very well. There's probably plenty of precious archaeological finds there and it seems that no one knows all that much about it either...
I figure I can spend a few days and then pop back out. She'll get what she wants, I get what I want.
no subject
[Yep.]
Are you angry?
