Mun....I know you are upset. I know you may be questioning my motives right now. But please understand I never meant for any of this to happen.  I never meant for Han to.....to...die. And yes for the record I did feel it from where I was.The Force feels the death of all living things. There is more to the story then you yet know and it will be awhile before you can learn it.

I just hope Leia and Rey will understand

Yes this was my first lightsaber. It was my father's too. I haven't seen it in a long, long time.

[Lord Starkiller studies the man before him in turn. He felt like Luke Skywalker, but older, more experienced, and more powerful. Were it any other day, he might attack the man on sight, but as it is he knows they're at least evenly matched, if he's not entirely outmatched by the elder Skywalker]

Strange. Your father once told me that I was what you could have been, had you followed him in destroying the Emperor. To think that you would become the very thing the Emperor despises most.

[There's that part of him, in the back of his mind, that remembers Galen Marek, and what he stood for. That the very movement that Luke followed now was one that his genetic template had started. The thought is quickly pushed aside.]

[Luke smiles slightly. He enjoys hearing of what could have been it reinforces that he made the right choice in the end.]

And now history is repeating itself sadly. So maybe my father was right after all.

[Starkiller has conflicted feelings on the subject. To think that he was just an alternative, a dark mirror to the man he sees before him. He knew himself. Vader had made sure of that.]

As long as there is light, there will be darkness. To believe that balance is dominion of one over the other is foolish.

[And it's not what he was made for. Starkiller had no interest in snuffing out the light. Not like his Masters did. Perhaps it was what was left of Galen in him.]

I'm well aware no one side of the Force should outweigh the other. My concern is for those who have been twisted by the darkness who can be saved.

It is always difficult to predict the results of our decisions. A foot step here leads to what there? Who can say. All we can do is make the step and then another.
