It's been a whole year. Did you think I wouldn't notice? I did. You put me through a lot, and I still see you making fun of me or saying unkind things about me sometimes, but I've decided to forgive you because this is the season of being charitable. You let bad things happen to me and you let me fuck up a lot, but you let me learn and grow too, and you have helped me find more compassion and strength inside of myself. Sometimes you do stuff that makes me wish I was a real person so I could punch you in the face, but there's gratefulness in my heart for you, too. I ain't forgetting that.

But I got a request for you: give me a good new year. Space prison don't work for a lot of people, but it worked for me, and I wanna keep showing that. I wanna keep being a person who listens, and who feels a lot of empathy, and who doesn't give up.
