Either way, I wouldn't put her in that kind of danger anyway even if she wanted to go.

We were in Lumina. She wanted to look at those lamps for whatever ridiculous reason. I just don't get it.

Sometimes she gets lost because she wants to find you and doesn't tell me, but fine... you can help because I guess it's not your fault this time.

[Really, he is happy about Toto, but he can't stop being such a jerk sometimes. Forgive him.]

[Toto pouts at him, all the same. He (is pretty sure) that they're buddies as far as a Jumi and Sprite go, so the jerkishness is less annoying and more endearing to him. Not that he lets on. He knows it would probably wound Elazul's pride. Or something to that effect.]

I'd help even if it was my fault! What do you take me for?

But those lamps really are pretty; I don't blame her for wanting to look at them.

[Pride had pretty much everything to do with his attitude. Some days it was good and others it could be sour. When it came to Pearl, Blackpearl or not, he still has his sense of duty despite the retaliation. At least he doesn't have to worry so much on Jinn day though.]

I know you'd help out either way, I didn't mean anything bad by it.

[Okay now he's being nicer. His low-key panicking makes him a little snappy, that's all.]

I think she knows you care, even with how you come across sometimes. Sometimes, I think, especially because of that.

[He's glad to have Elazul with him, honestly. Just for the sake of it. Some of his feelings never fully settled after the incident with Alexander. He still sometimes sees it all again in the back of his mind.
