I'm pretty much terrible at everything right now. Thanksgiving was a disaster. My dad's pissed at me. And I don't know what happened to Michael or Kurt or...anyone. Watch, they're probably pissed at me too.

[A long breath.]

A good driver knows when they're having a bad day. I'm having a colossally bad day. So why don't you just put me away for awhile until I can get my shit together? Besides, if Michael left I wouldn't want to be here anyway.

Oh, Michael. [Sighs and gives him a tight hug.] I'm sorry, I've so massively screwed up everything over the last few weeks, I thought maybe you might be mad at me too.

Good. Because I would never want to be here without you, ever. [Sighs, she worked herself up pretty nervous.] Did you mean what you said before, about wanting to have the wedding early?

I'll have the wedding whenever you want. I don't want to stress you more.

I'm more thinking if your mun is okay with it and doesn't mind writing the starter - it'd be nice to have something nice in my life right now.

You'd probably know this since you'd have been there, but I kind of fucked up Thanksgiving and my dad is upset with me. I don't like when he's mad at me.

Well, let's see. I looked ridiculous in the dress I bought, slightly burned the turkey, apparently I'm not that great at making casserole and I got the wrong kind of pie.

I'm sure it was not that bad because we were together. That's the important part, not the food.

I just really wanted it to go well since it was the first holiday at our new house. You know? [Sighs.] I'm sure you probably kept me from losing my shit.

Then the thing with Dad is a whole separate thing you don't need to worry about. [Or really she's not telling him because it was kind of about him.]

What happened?

I told him I was considering leaving when my contract expired and he told me I'd be letting myself down if I did.

[bravoes]

That was unfair to say to you. [His brow creased a bit, really unhappy she was told that.]

He might be right. I don't know. [Sighs and pinches the bridge of her nose, this really bothers her.] But I know how much having a family means to you and you mean more to me than anything. I just can't win.

[bravoes]

No he's not. You no matter what have to do what feels right to you. No matter what it is no one, not even your father, has the right to make you feel like you choose wrong. That is just cruel and selfish.

[shelbycobra]

But you've given up so much for me already, Babe. I feel like it should be my turn to make the sacrifice. You deserve me doing something for you.

[bravoes]

And if that would make you happy so be it. Still it should be your choice and those who love you should support you.

See, this is why I'm thinking we should get married. Because you've been so damn supportive of me all the time and I don't want to be without you ever.

I was thinking something nice but not too big. IMS's Pagoda Plaza hosts weddings and then we wouldn't have to travel anywhere. Just invite some of my friends and of course Damien.
