[The wee thing might blink a bit at Jack, but ooh, friendly man has a nice smile.]

Mwweee! [Bouncing up and down on its tiny feeties]

[Jack kneels down and picks the little squishy creature up and settles him on his shoulder.]

Mreee!!! [The critter clearly approves and patters up Jack's shoulder to grip one part of his coat collar with one paw. It might look down, emitting a mewl of amazement before looking back up into Jack's face.]

[Jack chuckles and carefully shakes his head]

Mweeheeheehee! [The critter giggles, its beady eyes crinkling up.] MweeMweem. [Might even sound like "Thank you!"]

Mwheeeee!!! [The little critter cheers, hopping up and down Jack's shoulder in delight, waving its little paws in excitement. Clearly, that's a definite yes!]

[Jack grins and pets the little creature on the head.]

Eeeeee! [Snuggling into getting petted, pleased, calming down a bit, but still excited with prospects.]

[It tilts its 'head', puzzled.] Mwee-mee-mwrrr?? ['Di-no-saur? what's that??]

[Jack considers how best to explain what he's thinking of.]

It's like a big bird with skin instead of feathers.

Mwuuuuu.... [Like a mewling "oooohh..." of curiosity and amazement, think little kid impressed by something interesting.]

[Jack laughs and laughs but not in an unkind way.]

[The critter lets out a delighted squittering sound, it's shoe button eyes squinching up, clearly giggling, as it snuggles into the angle of Jack's shoulder. Dare we say, the way it's tucking its head, the wee thing might be doing a charmed 'd'awwww, don't mention it'.]

{Jack smiles finding this just most the adorable thing ever. He gently pets the creature's head.]

[Ooooh, a head pat! And the critter will snuggle into that touch, patting Jack's hand where it can reach it, and emitting a squeaky little sigh of appreciation.]

[The critter might let out a soft, surprised "mrrrup?" at being picked up, but when the young-looking personage mentions having a friend, the critter squeaks in delight.]

Mweee! [Then in reply to the question, it pauses, then continues.] Mree? Mwwwee-mweeem. [Shaking its 'head' or a least the top third of its body.]

[It's waving. Either she's entirely hallucinating or there's a sentient being in front of her. Molly's not sure which option she'd prefer, but she manages a little waggle of her fingers as she stares down.]

[It's adorable, whatever it is. She doesn't shy away from the tiny pat, and even kneels down closer.] Looks like we've got a language barrier, eh?

Mrrrmmm.... [Almost a thoughtful note there as it takes one of her fingers in one of its paws, almost like a baby grasping it. It seems to understand gestures, at least, and it clearly seems at ease with her.]
