Change is merely change, Skywalker. It is how you deal with it that will make it worse, or better. I never claimed otherwise.

( Plo is totally amused even if the breather makes it harder to tell. )

You rather seem to be quite the force for it. But, that is certainly no change from the Skywalker I knew. ( Anakin's entry to the Order introduced change to a lot of things. But Plo can hardly say they were all bad ones.

And Anakin Skywalker was a good man, a good knight. If... unorthodox. )

Quite far away, young one. I was not expecting to come back. ( This little one feels so strong in the Force. It reminds him of... ) And who are you, might I ask?

Perhaps it is good that you've returned, even if you don't think you can do much. I'm sure it's not true. My father says that the Galaxy needs many changes. [ Something like that. She bows her head politely in greeting. ] I am Princess Leia of Alderaan.

Hey, there's one thing I've learned in my time hanging around here, it's that there's always room for a vaguely-menacing looking guy with a heart of gold.

[And he means that, from the bottom of his spidery little heart. But he also knows they're usually really fun to sass, so unfortunately that's probably going to continue being a thing.]

Or the...closest metaphorical equivalent, in your case. Not really up to speed on that sort of thing for the non-Earth-y crowd.

[And the last alien he had any quality time with was sort of this evil black ooze that liked to take over your mind, so. Not a lot of enlightening conversation to be had, there.]

And it's not all that surprising you haven't, really. One of the things you get used to around here is the concept of multiple universes. Also parallel ones, and that is its own headache.

My thoughts? My time has passed for such matters and has little meaning these days. [ read: I haven’t paid an ounce of attention outside our Hope (he's just like his father; a full time job), what even is happening in the galaxy.]

[okay so she could at least be polite, especially since Plo Koon had always appeared to be one of the few masters who reacted as opposed to charged headlong into a bad situation with full intent to resolve it violently as his "Plan A."

So he gets a small bow and an actual acknowledgment out of her, even if she's not terribly thrilled to see a council member right now. The hostility isn't terribly well concealed either, but she's at least trying to be diplomatic and well-behaved despite it. Both out of courtesy, and because bad habits are terribly hard to break, especially as far as 'repress and refuse to confront everything' is concerned.]

There are much larger changes to confront here than in any of our respective worlds. Your role will be of your own choosing.

I would think to put my own home in order, first, before I try to explore much further, but I will go as the Force wills. [ Barriss is... swirling in dark emotion, and that makes Plo somewhat distrustful, and wary. It has been a long war, and there are so many who were not able to carry the burden of it upon their shoulders. ]

With respect Master Plo, your "mun" now holds more sway over you than the Force. It guides you only so long as they allow it, and no further.

[There was no distinct harshness in her response, she only sought to correct him before he felt too sure of himself. But there is a good deal of confusion that follows. Knight? Really? Something was wrong here. And the laugh that follows involves a great deal more anxiety than humor.]

You seem to be making quite a difference on your own, Ahsoka. ( He is so proud of you, Ahsoka, and it radiates from him in his feelings, in his posture, in his voice. ) Your grand-master and I were just discussing what a great Jedi Knight you had become.

I do my best, Master. [ Ahsoka offers him a sad smile. As pleased as she is to know Master Plo approves of all she's been doing, there is one small detail he seems to have missed. ] But I am not a Jedi Knight.

It is two, Knight Skywalker. ( Plo isn't chiding, he's amused. You can tell by the way he's grinning. ) Only the foolish do not have fears. A Jedi must not let those fears control his actions.

( ...He's gonna tease you, some. ) It helps to be patient.

I must disagree. There are many fine knights still. Better than we had been, in our last days. Did you truly think you could smother an entire Galaxy in Darkness? The Force has it's own time. It's own will.
