[He leans down to be more level with her and grins, letting his snake emerge to hiss at her.] I'm the boogieman!

[Okay, that is a little unsettling. Karla finds herself stepping back from him as that snake comes out.]

[Well, well, now he finds himself wondering if he can actually scare her. So, in reaction to her stepping back, he goes further forward.]

Yeah. And the thing I'm best at is scarin' people. Comes with the territory, y'know?

[At this point he's letting things come out, centipedes and those big hairy spiders he likes, things like that. Sticking out of places.] Can't help but wonder whatcher afraid of.

[She lets out an amused huff.]

I wonder that myself, actually. Every day, I use my blade to strike down one opponent after another. Any day now, I might be the one at the end of a blade. So what do you fear when you're not even afraid to die?

[She doesn't seem to react when all those bugs start coming out of him. When one spider comes a little too close to her leg, she simply lifts up her foot and stomps on it.]

And what territory might that be?

It's almost wince-inducing, watching one of 'em get squished like that, but eh. He's certainly had much worse.]
