Canon is Undertale. Spoilers may happen in comments
heh, it took you long enough.
[Like you're one to talk, Sans.]
but i can get behind not having much of a plan besides, well, this.
it's a lot better than most of the alternatives.

Barely anyone around here gets away with doing absolutely nothing.
[He offers out his hand.]
My name is Karl. My mun's told me a little bit about you and your brother, but not much. I suspect he wanted me to meet you rather than know everything about you from the onset.
no subject
i'm sans the skeleton, but you probably knew that already.
[He takes the man's hand to shake it and.... well, there's an extended "pfffffffffftttttt" noise.
Did you really think Sans was gonna pass up an opportunity like that?]
no subject
I should of seen that one coming.
[Karl thinks on what Sans says.]
Well what if someone sends your brother to a game? Someone has to keep an eye on him.
If I end up in a game with him of course I'd offer to do so. Perhaps gardening would be a good hobby for him to learn. My mun does tell me he had the type of dedication necessary for it.
no subject
not that papyrus needs anyone to keep an eye on him.
...
i do think he'd like gardening if you were growing tomatoes, though.
no subject
Oh most certainly. If I can grow tomatoes in whatever place I find myself in I will.
I also imagine he might like the work in general. My mun did tell me that he likes to make people happy and one of the few ways I know to make most people happy is to give them fresh food when they otherwise had none.

though he'd probably just try to make them spaghetti, it's all he knows how to make.
no subject
He sounds like a pretty nice guy from what my mun has told me.
I would instruct him in the care of plants so he can give them strawberries and things. Maybe teach him how to make a good salad since that's considered a companion to spaghetti anyway.
no subject
so, what else has your mun told you about us?
no subject
Nothing too out of the ordinary, except when it came to you.
My mun said you would be particularly interested in the fact I'm not quite a normal human. That I could possibly try to help you locate a Dr. Gaster? He refused to explain beyond that, but he assured me that I would be of some help.
no subject
...
believe me, i've tried.
no subject
[He takes off his hat, and the foil one underneath. Followed by his goggles revealing a set of purple eyes.]
I'm going to guess what's going on and you'll have to let me know if you change your mind.
[His eyes start to glow and suddenly there's a statue of himself rising out of the ground made out of dirt.]
We'll assume for the moment I'm Dr. Gaster. One day something goes wrong. I do something very foolish and boom-
[The statue bursts into thousands of tiny dirt particles.]
I disappear and not only that, so too do people's memories of me.
[He smiles.]
You think he's gone, but I believe my mun's theory is he's simply scattered and that I could put the pieces back together.
[The statue seems to rebuild itself.]
It's not as simple as all that when you're talking about a person, but I can do a lot more than move dirt around.
no subject
like i've said, i've tried, i've exhausted nearly all possibilities and solutions. what's the point of trying again when you know you'll fail?

Don't you remember?

you.
[His ever-present grin suddenly seems a bit more like a grimace.]

Was it worth it?

You didn't save even a single soul.
no subject
maybe not a victory for me, but it wasn't one for you, either.
no subject
How pathetic.
no subject
not everyone has the conviction to see your train wreck though to the end.
no subject
All it takes is one small human with a knife.
no subject
i saw things get dangerously close to playing right in your hands, but like i said, not everyone has the conviction.
no subject
You may speak from experience, but you also forget: nothing can leave the abyss. Not even trace impressions to tease at the edge of your subconscious.
You do not know what a failure you have become because you do not remember. Do not worry: It will come back around to you in time.
no subject
oh shit sorry, this one's notif disappeared!
that's okay, it happen.
no subject
*Turning as though to leave.* You'd just forget all of it by next time around anyway.

Goodbye, Sans.
*They walk away. The strange overlap where foreign mannerisms clash with a familiar face weakens, and from behind they could be any version of Frisk that Sans knows and cares about.*
