muse is less than pleased
What has come of you, child? Do you fear you will succumb to the sin that is so desperate to come out? Fear you will suddenly loose control and these...urges will come to light?
I can help you, but you must be willing. If not, you are no more than a hindrance to my—our cause. There is very important work to be done.
[a moment of silence would pass]
You think this is a joke, dont you?
[a pause]
I grow tiered of your toying with me, child. This must cease at once!

Perhaps.. Though I have my doubts of this one. I have tried to provide a remedy to their problem, but they are not willing to take it. Instead they insist on taking me away from the greater good I am trying to accomplish. I fear it may be too late and they will succumb to the evil that tempts them. [a pause. He clears his throat, and though his voice is the same, it's more authoritative - false confidence, although the words are honest.]
I'm well versed in hiding until I have to come into sight, to stop criminals. I'm the guardian of my city, at night. But the mask I wear was crafted to scare people, and it's unfortunately very good at that. If you saw me, you wouldn't want to talk to me, even though my intent is to terrify thieves and murderers, not... nuns. Not that I'm sure we even have nuns in my city. I mean, we just got done hosting the Global Atheist Convention last month, so...
[Yeah, he's not sure how much he even actually knows about religion. Catholicism has the nuns, Jehovah's Witnesses and Mormons go door to door, and Muslims have the hijabs. That's about it.]
