Mun, I don't want to be in this game. I've had enough of space travel, post apocalyptic worlds, weird aliens, things like that. If you're going to app me somewhere, can't you at least app me to a spa game or something like that? Not me tramping around the wilderness...again. I'm fine with wilderness, it's just that I've done an awful lot of it with the Doctor. And, if it's just going to be me here-

Wait, the Doctor's there? [There's a pause, as Peri considers her options.] Cute Doctor or shouty Doctor?

I don't know, Mister, the young blonde Doctor is kind of cute.

[He smiles]

Now, I prefer to think of myself as more debonair than anything else. And I remember being shouty. Mid-life crises are terrible things, Peri, terrible things indeed.

[The smile becomes more fond]

It's been quite a spell since last we met, my dear Miss Brown.

Doctor? Is that you?

[Now it's Peri's turn for a big, happy, fond smile.]

You've regenerated again!

[darkened_doctor]

Indeed it is, Peri, and indeed I have.

[He'll open his arms, gesturing for her to get over there so she can be properly hugged]

How are you?

[clevercricketer]

Shouty? I admit I can get a little excited, but shouty? [Now he looks concerned.]

[peridox]

What? No, you're the cute one! The one you regenerate into-with the curls and the horrible fashion sense. He's the shouty one.

[peridox]

[Hug time! Peri, still grinning, gives the Doctor a big hug.]

I'm doing good. Still traveling with you. [A pause] Uh, the you from the past. With the coat and the hair?

[The way she says 'coat' implies that Peri thinks it's a horrible piece of fabric and needs to be burned.]

[darkened_doctor]

[He makes a face, as if she'd asked him to drink cough medicine for a week]

Oh, yes, that. Not the finest decision I ever made, was it?

[peridox]

Not really. Still, this you looks a lot better!

[clevercricketer]

Oh! [He blinks a moment, looking confused and then tilts his head as he looks back at her.] Cute?

[darkened_doctor]

Ah, my dear Peri. Flattery will get you simply everywhere.

[He touches the end of her nose with a finger, affectionately.]

[peridox]

[She giggles.]

So, Doc, what've you been up to lately? Saving the world, traveling through the universe-do I get to meet you? In my future, that is.

[peridox]

Yeah, cute. [Peri giggles, slightly.] Especially when you look all confused.

[darkened_doctor]

Not yet, [He said with a smile] but here is hoping, certainly.

Assuming, of course, you'd want a few more trips in the TARDIS. I wouldn't force you, of course.

[He's fairly sure of her answer]

[peridox]

I'd love some more trips in the TARDIS! I don't think I could ever get sick of traveling with you.

[darkened_doctor]

[He smiles]

Well, then we've something to look forward to then, don't we?

[clevercricketer]

[Which, of course, only serves to gain a more confused look from him as he leans back a little. Then he just decides to smile shyly.]

Well, it's better than 'shouty' any day.
