Look, darlin', it may be the best song in the entire movie, but even I get sick of hearin' it in your brain 24/7!
It's been about a month.
A MONTH.
Knock it off, already! You're drivin' the both of us insane.

Sound's like "there's trouble close at hand~"

That ain't even the least bit funny, lil lady.
no subject
It's funny! I'm laughing! You really are too much!
no subject
No. No, it's intolerable.]
I'll show you funny! You ain't gonna be laughin' when you're stew, missy.

[Sorry Oggie, you may be one of her favorites...but you're one of her favorites]

Never thought I'd hate something that comes from something related to me. Still, you'd think he'd have some common sense to those around him, but he apparently does not!
no subject
I mean, there's likin' a song and then there's havin' an unhealthy obsession. I think they went and crossed that line a long time ago.
no subject
These Muns are strange beings, if I say so myself. I think he should seek medical attention for having such an unhealthy obsession. Perhaps once that's said and done with, he should pick up a decent hobby that doesn't involve repetition. Perhaps a certain Children's Card Game.
no subject
[... Children's card game?] That sounds like somethin' for, uh... kids.

Hate to say it, but I think you've already passed the "some wrinkles" stage anyway, toots.

It's astounding, really.

[[Oogie, you're one step closer to having Yzma ripping your stuffing out.]]

Some nerve, really.
[[Yes Oogie, before you ask, it is a ship, and yes, it's talking to you. And it's not any talking ship. It's the Titanic]]
no subject
???
?????]
Yeah, uh. A real shame, that.
no subject
Yes, it is! Doesn't know how to treat a thing properly! Such nerve! Why, if I wasn't stuck in his mind, I'd show him a thing or two! He can't forget me and pretend I don't exist!
[[The Titanic's going to be ranting for a bit. Don't mind 'em, Oogie]]
no subject
[If he hears 'I don't Want to Set the World on Fire' one more time he's going to set the world on fire.]
no subject
[Not really. Knowing someone else is suffering worse sure makes him feel better.]
no subject
Just sayin', it ain't gonna stop. You're just gonna hear it over, and over, and over until one of you kicks the proverbial bucket.
no subject
Dear Mundane, if you don't mind, I can pull that Oogie from your side.
[...Yes, that is surprisingly sinister considering his rather large skeleton grin]
no subject
So in spite of his... nerves, not fear, no, he puts on a prideful appearance, complete with gross sneer, and makes an effort to be as in-your-face as physically possible.]
What makes you think they'd wanna get rid of their FAVORITE CHARACTER?
[... Yeah.]
no subject
Sometimes, just some, mundanes can find their favourite characters... overwhelming. My own dear Mundane has experienced this. And in the case of you, Oogie, you are exactly the type of person who would take advantage to your own end.
You have shown how shamefully you treat other people.
You have proven that you cannot be trusted.
And if your Mundane wishes, I will help them when it comes to dealing with you.
no subject
[And assuming everybody wants it there, for that matter. Really, if someone couldn't handle him, they shouldn't have tried in the first place. So he shrugs.]
Not my problem if someone wants to bite off more than they can chew.
Besides, [one can most certainly hear the nasty gloating tone,] they don't want nothin' bad to happen to me. Guess that leaves you outta luck!
[Yet, anyway.]
no subject
[It's said softly, his eyes narrowed as he looks at the boogieman. He turns, again, to speak directly to the Mundane]
I will respect your wishes, but please be aware that I am more than willing to offer any help that you may require. I know how... challenging Oogie can be.
[Except the tone? Makes it clear he does not see Oogie as a challenge. Not at all. He's just a no account, good for nothing who has no manners, and tries to ruin the spirit of Hallowe'en. How dare he.]
