On the mun's excitedness to write fanfiction again...

Okay, whoa. Seriously, back up. I totally get your enthusiasm (and good grief, would you just make a Joy journal already, you've been considering it for long enough, and she's bouncing around like mad because you just keep waiting) for writing this 'fanfiction', but maybe you're being a little too hasty. I mean, you just thought this stuff up yesterday. You barely have anything written down in preparation!

... No, I'm not 'raining on your parade', Mun, I'm trying to be the voice of reason, here. Because clearly no one else up here thinks this is a bad idea. I'm just trying to keep you from falling flat on your face when you realize you forgot to plan something.

... And you're going to keep going with it anyway, aren't you? Ugggggh, you're hopeless! [She rolls her eyes and crosses her arms.] Well, don't come crying to me when that happens. I tried to warn you.

[She makes an exaggerated sigh.] Yeah, well, it's fantastic as long as Mun doesn't decide to rush ahead without actually planning enough.

The ideas are fine - all of Mun's friends are excited. But this one has a tendency to charge forward without thinking. That's the issue, here.

Seriously, though, Mun's got Sadness running things because she's in a game, and I'm stuck here with just this place. Which, okay, that might be fine, since things don't work here like they do at Headquarters. But is that really a good idea? Just her?

Now, Disgust. Sadness became very confident when we were a team, didn't she? She knows just the thing to do, I'm sure. [Joy and Sadness went through a lot together]

Perhaps you can just remind her of how good planning is?

Look, it's not that I don't trust her. And she does listen to me, at least. But even you know that just one of us is never a good idea. I'm not gonna let her do it alone. ... I just can't do anything more than suggest to her.

If it makes you feel any better, you're kinda there too. Mun just hasn't made a journal for you yet. [Again, how do these 'alternate universes' work, ugh they make her head hurt.] So, really, Sadness already has the best adviser of the team.

[Well, aside from Disgust. Disgust is the best adviser most of the time. Ever vigilant, keeping someone from being poisoned. But Joy is the best adviser for most other things that Sadness can't advise on. Or the others.]

Yeah, maybe. Mun's thinking 'if only it were that simple to get castmates', since apparently he works better with Sadness than any of the rest of us. Which is fine, really. [That's... kind of how this works, isn't it?] But at least us being there means I don't have to worry he's going to mess up big time with the writing.

You ever heard of those stories where, like, someone takes the characters from one thing, and works them into another setting? To see how similar or different it might be? It's something like that. It's like how things would be if they lived there their entire lives.

Apparently we're getting worked into a Power Rangers setting, alternate universe and all. Something about having to learn to work as a team in a different setting, fighting evil and stuff like that. I think it's kinda dumb, but his friends are all over the idea.

There's also some story where we're getting a 'crossover' with some blue hedgehog and his friends, but I don't know much else about that one. [Mostly because she stopped listening part-way into it. Can they all seriously just stop with dragging them out of Headquarters for this kind of thing?]

Well, that sounds ... very exciting ... ? [Because it all sounds strange to Joy. But she's supportive! It's what she does.]

Honestly, Joy? I don't really understand it either. You'd be better off asking Sadness, she probably knows a lot more about it than I do. And could probably explain it better.

[That's gotta really bite for Joy, though, given how she is. Disgust genuinely feels for her friend there.]

If it makes you feel any better... [She looks off to the side for a second, then back to Joy.] Sadness has been a lot more content since she saw you. Here, I mean. Mun was almost worried we'd never see you outside of the headspace back then.

[Well, at least Disgust has dropped her normal attitude for the moment.]

not as good with Disgust as I feel I am with Sadness XD though I'm not used to her type of character
