[She knows him, in so much as she knows this was once a form of her Doctor. Regeneration was a funny thing she didn't really understand but had seen enough of it in the Doctor's mind. She knows this is just another version of him. She gazes easily at him with recognition, though he likely doesn't know her in the slightest.]

Hello, Doctor, a different face but still so much faith in people. Clearly, that is the same no matter the face you wear. However, you've been quiet rude, not even introducing yourself.

[She keeps her smile, as the King's Mistress, she's very good at keeping men on their toes, even men like the Doctor. She merely quirks a brow. Well, she had intended on teasing him a bit more, but she'd release him from his embarrassment.]

While she did not see this version of him in her Doctor's mind, his tone, his words, his ease and the smile? Oh yes, it was most certainly her lonely angel. She reached out to hold his cheek. How rude of you Doctor, to get even younger while I must grow older with each passing day.

[She ran a hand through his hair.] Goodness, look at you, still the smile of a boy, though. [She tapped his chin before smiling.]

And his majesty is quite well, a bit upset to know I've such a fondness for someone other than him.

[She does believe it, when it concerns the Doctor. One does not observe an older man suddenly becoming younger and younger in his own head to not know it.]

[She smiled at his compliment. Though what was only minutes, hours, or even just a day for him, had been years and years for her. Never to visit the same year again, never to see him except for years at a time in leaps and bounds. At his mention of rather special, she held his cheek. She wasn't so young as to suddenly kiss him again.

Reinette lightly tapped him on the nose instead.]

You are quite the kisser, or were. I hope a change of body doesn't mean a change of ability.

Of course not. If anything I'm even more energetic than I was before. New body, new legs, new everything. [He stretched his arms out to the ceiling and smirked at her.]

Shall we put that to the test? [Which was about as much warning as Eleven was going to get before she kissed him. She wasn't as young, but the Doctor was still the Doctor after all.]

[Anyone who dared to call themselves an artist within the borders of France would surely recognize Madame de Pompadour, even if it's over a century after her passing. Erik bows to no man or king without some measure of farce in his actions, but he's star-struck by her and gives a low, respective bow as he speaks.]

These creatures who claim power over us are foolish in their ways, Madame. I trust you'll have no trouble teaching yours to respect your wishes.

[She watches as he bows to her and she smiles at the respect he shows. While it is expected, in some small manner, as the King's Mistress, she does not always receive such genuine respect. She inclines her head and offers him a smile.]

You strike me as the sort who could not possibly fall to the power of another person. And so far, I have kept this child from doing anything too foolish. We will have to see what whims and flights of fancy I can keep from getting out of hand.

[King's Mistress or commoner, she is a well-known patron of the arts and reportedly skilled in her own right. That outweighs any measure of royalty or status in his opinion.]
