I can deal with some things. No decent ale, fine. No blacksmith, also fine. Certainly nowhere to be pampered as is clearly my due at this point, which is a little irritating, but one makes do with what one has. HOWEVER, I draw the line at being made to jump from rooftop to rooftop, since I am clearly not absolutely barking mad and actually enjoy being largely intact thank you very much.

And another thing-- leather is not an acceptable substitute for real plate armour. Not. At all. Zero. Have you tried being heroic in flimsy hide clothing?

Exactly. Don't do it. Doesn't block a single thing unless you plan to fight schoolgirls.

Bottom line: I deserve nice things for once. Several dozen, actually, but I'll settle for a half dozen minimum instead. So hop to it.
