Tony had often complained, in his idle, mouth-running-while-brain-elsewhere-more-important way, that computers got the short end of the stick in popular media, and why was everyone so freaked out by AIs, but he hadn't thought about it like this.]

[ this is why they're so dangerous together, because their logic doesn't exactly follow. at some point a sane person (pepper, natasha, rhodey, really... anyone else) would've pointed out that none of these are good role models. unfortunately for everyone else, it's easy to be convinced of your own conclusions when you're a genius in your field. ]

This is ending up just like everything else they do together: it starts as a discussion, with Bruce standing still and pointing things out in a reasonable voice, and Tony spinning in a chair, hopping on counters to sit and immediately jumping off, and otherwise completely unable to stand still, and Bruce finally sitting down and recording their findings, if only to have something steady to focus on.]

Got it. I, Robot. [Ticks off on his fingers:] Three Laws of Robotics. Well-meaning but evil AI. Good robot who doesn't die at the end. Positive reinforcement, plus an intro to classic Asimov. [Even if the movie bends the original story a little bit. Okay, more than a little.]
