Not that I haven't been a PERFECT gentlemen wolf over the years, yes sir. But when a wolf finds himself himself in a scrape it shouldn't be against the LAW to defend himself.

If a wolf is going around attacking people, then I don't think I'd be surprised if they started sharpening their pitchforks.

But if a wolf is just minding his own business, there's no reason for it. That's just pigeonholing them into a stereotype that's outdated.

Getting us in trouble for helping ourselves to one of two sheep when people just LEAVE them out in the open like that asking for trouble...

[Oh hello. You don't smell like anything alive. Wolf takes a few curious sniffs around this strangle little creature, but definitely not a scent he's smelt before. Definitely magic, then. Best to be polite.]

[ huh. well, he isn't sure if anyone's ever smelled him before - maybe the maintenance guy sometimes, but it always smells awful in the pizzeria and it's hard to tell exactly where it's coming from.

but-- hello, mister! the puppet waves, and since he can't speak, he brings his hands up and wiggles his fingers by his ears. it's his way of asking if he's really a wolf. ]

[Oh, no talking it is. Wolf can non-verbal with the best of them. He swipes a paw over his nose and aroos in confirmation. Yep, 100% all wolfie here.]

[ oh! well, he still looks like a human person, but he can make the right wolf-noises! and charades is one of the puppet's favourite games, so he'll play along. look look, he's hopping around in a circle, guess what animal he is? ]

[huffpuffs]

[ooooh, he guesses bunny. Wolf gives a playful bark and hops in return.]

I don't think any place is perfect, but you're right. We're here and maybe you have some sort of calling. Are they wolves like you are a wolf? I've seen a lot of weird things.
