You say Sesshomaru is there? As well as...their father? (What can she say to them? What can she say to him after imprisoning his son to a tree for fifty years?) I think it best if we do not cross paths. No matter what he says, Sesshomaru has not slain Inuyasha. Their relationship could grow in the future with the aid of Kagome and Rin.

(There is happiness in that and she is glad for them, yet it's another change she will not see.)

That is true. Some Youkai are closer to humans emotionally while others are...detached and unable to understand human weaknesses.

Dog demons seem to have an easier time bonding with humans. (Much like actual dogs.) It is not entirely surprising that seek out human companions from time to time.

He must be aware of that, though I will keep your secret. (She smiles affectionately.) For Youkai, their powers undoubtedly increase with age. I believe the same must be true for Half-Demons too.

She is not one I would wish to fight. (Kikyo imagines the lady is above such petty disputes.) It is my experience that lesser demons seek battles. They wish to prove themselves. Those with great power see no reason to do so.
