"Generation 1", known as the first set of human stories involving ponies. Instead of placing ponies in their native land of Equestria, they were said to live in a land called "Dream Valley". Seaponies and "Flutter Ponies" - flying ponies like pegasi with wings similar to the ones that Rarity had during the Young Flyer's competition (Princess Celestia showed you that picture, correct?) - were both fairly abundant.

Ponies with the powers of all three pony races, such as the princesses in Equestria, were unheard of, and the ponies teamed up with humans to fight an odd creature called "The Smooze".
