general things.
It is well that you appear to have changed your mind about my intent. If only you would reach a more definite sense of conviction...
Still. 80% is no doubt better than around 40%.
You shall keep me around regardless, I trust. For after all, no matter what Monday brings, it will indeed be interesting.

soft intense shrieking
hello there!
To arrive at your question, my mundane, unfortunately, is on her guard. Given what exactly happened at what she calls 2.5, and her feeling that more betrayals are on the way, she doesn't quite trust me yet. Especially given regard to some screenshots which show my second-in-command as pureblood Garlean. She's quite the conspiracy theorist indeed -- and believes there is some possibility, given Lucia's race -- that I am not who I say I am.
Alas, I had thought her somewhat above judging someone by their race. A pity, though such sentiment is not at all surprising.
The worst of her thoughts paint me as a Garlean agent myself, especially given the Imperial interest behind an assault on Midgardsormr -- a favour I, myself, asked of your organization and your warrior of light. Such would be laughable, though she seems utterly convinced.

May the present unrest serve as a reminder that it is not race which settles our allegiances, nor is it origin, but the character of personal loyalty. We have met, and continue to toil alongside, "unusual" and decidedly Eorzean Garleans, have we not? Those motivated to reject the travails of the Empire for means personal, political, righteous, and so forth. The Elder Seedseer herself permits one such man serve on her personal guard.
And what of pureness of birth? We Scions are no more Eorzean by blood than our warrior of light or our most persistent enemies on the ground. That Archon Louisoix acted for the good of this land and her people is worth little in the eyes of other nations still besieged or suffering.
Regardless of your perceived intentions, ignoring the risen Midgardsormr would prove folly for all in reach of Silvertear, if not all of Eorzea sooner than later. Some of us prefer to believe your insistence on vigilance there is guided by an outside hand.

['potentially traumatising' is two.]
I suppose we can only wait and see. [which doesn't thrill her too much, but… well.]

[Gravely.]
... I hope, warrior of light, as well I know Lucia hopes, that what is to come does not harm you.

I… [she ducks her head a little, ears twitching.] Thank you. I hope- whatever happens, that it will not be so terrible for you.
