I don't have any objection to this. I'd much rather be doing my job, of course, but there's a great deal to learn here too.

Infact, I'd say this is an excellent opportunity to teach as well. I am certain there are many eagers minds here, waiting to be filled with knowledge. Whilst I'm here, it couldn't hurt!

To learn from the mistakes they've made...

I get that. I really do. But there's only so much my history will tell me and not even the elders know what happened to cause the huge upset between everyone in my world. Sometimes it just feels as if we're all fighting over nothing.

Not necessarily to learn from their mistakes! To also be inspired by their successes! It's easy to focus on the negative, but history is full of great heroes and people to admire too- following their example or finding inspiration in their tales is how many a new legacy began.

I get into way too much trouble rather than stop it from happening, heh.
