[It's been longer than it actually has to him, since he last saw his blind devotee to Kira's cause. He had been certain he'd never see her again.

Already, upon the moment Light sees her, there are questions. Now that Misa's here, then maybe he could use her help. Does she happen to have her Death Note? Does she still have the shinigami eyes?

He's aware that she may not even be from his own timeline. If she's from his own point in time, then it would cancel out the other question.]

Hello, Misa. [He nods, as the hint of a wintry smile is on his lips. Indeed, she'd be right about that, in a way.] Concerning where I am, it's harder, working alone.

[Not that he's the only one from his own brand of universe, but of course Ryuk--even though he's from an alternate reality of sorts--is majorly unhelpful, as he's always been.]

Once we're back in our world, yes. [Mikami can have the Death Note, once they go back. If they can somehow get back. Misa will still be useful to prove his "innocence".]

We'll need a plan, to escape from all the people who know I'm Kira.

An island that's alive...? That sounds really scary!

[She pouts at the thought of Light being held hostage anywhere. Surely no one can keep Light trapped for long, he's too smart for that-- even with everyone turned against him. But it's unfair for him to ever be kept away from her like that! If only she was there to help...]

It's even more unnerving on how it's reacted to a man threatening its life source. In fact, I was told it wasn't always an island.

[He may hate Nexus for deciding to keep him there, to be kept from running things as Kira at his world--but what the hell can he do? Endangering it would risk part of the land to flood, or something. He would be killed.

No one at the temple base will let anyone go anywhere on their own anyway, out of common sense and out of good reason. There have been killer cyborg things and grotesque things nature would ever design that wouldn't hesitate to attack any living person.]

I'm not hurt, or in prison. There's just always been someone there to watch over me. I think everyone's a bit more occupied, since a crazy woman's on the run.
