I won't allow you and her mun to let Alice grow up so she can be married! I shall take her off to Neverland and she can come and be a Mother to the Lost Boys! She doesn't need to grow up.

But I shan't let you two pirates let her grow up to make it happen! A Mother is a bride before she's a Mother, so she can come to Neverland and be a bride there, and not need to grow up! See!

A mother without even being married! Whatever will my mother say? [She laughed, she's honestly not too worried about it. She's done quite a bit of growing up and shrinking down.]

I'm not going to be a bride, Peter. A bride can't be a bride without a groom, so you've nothing to worry about, I'm not marrying anyone anytime soon.

Well we will get you a groom! ... What does a groom become if a bride becomes a Mother?

Oh! [Her eyes widen. Peter wanted to get her a groom?] Well, a groom becomes a Father. That's why they get married, so they can be Father and Mother for their children.

[He looks at her with wide eyes] You have to grow up to be a bride, but you can be a bride in Neverland without every having to grow up. And then you don't have to worry about 'anytime soon' because you won't have to grow up for it!

[He frowns] Well, I am Father of the Lost Boys... Would I be a groom?

[madcuriosity]

[Well, that was very true, but she suddenly blinked and went red in the face.]

Ah- you... um... [Peter as the groom!] Oh ah... well.. if you wanted to be, Peter... but... I mean- there's... a certain... uh... process to the whole thing.

Process? [He looks confused by that] Sounds too grown up. There doesn't have to be a process if you don't want there to be.

[madcuriosity]

[Well, courting sounded fun, from what her sister always told her about it. But she knows Peter probably wouldn't want to hear about the whole thing... Alice didn't even know who they would "declare" an engagement to! Not that-wait no, she really shouldn't think about it that way. She blushed and begin to pull and twiddle her fingers.]

Well... I... a process doesn't have to be unfun, Peter. I'm sure there could be some very fun games to be had it all of it, otherwise, why would so many people do it?

[Peter considers this] Well... what will be a fun thing to do with this process? I like games. Is there a game for it?

[madcuriosity]

Well... I suppose there could be. [Alice tried to think about all the stories her sister told her about courting.] But they might be games you won't like... [She suddenly grinned.] They might be too hard for you.

[Oh, oh Alice, you're getting a Look] No game is too hard for me! I'm the best!

Well then, one game is making a bouquet. Do you know what that is?

Something you hold? [He sounds so confident. doesn't he?]

Something like that. It's a bunch of flowers arranged in a certain way with certain meanings. It's not just any flower, mind you, just any flowers wouldn't do. They have to be... nice flowers. [She tilted her head.] It's how you start courting the bride, Peter.

[extraordinaryboy]

[...] What's courting?

[madcuriosity]

Oh ah... well, it's the big game that you play before the marriage, all the games I'm talking about are little parts of the one big game which ends in a single question.

This is a lot of games. [But he sounds pleased. He likes games]

Well, is that a problem, Peter?

[extraordinaryboy]

Games are no problem to me!

So then I'm sure you wouldn't mind how many there are for this particular game of courting.

I never mind games. [He just might forget what they're playing halfway through]

Then you should be able to face this with flying colors. [She grins at her own little word play.]
