If I have to tell you anything to get what I’d like, Pest...
It perhaps would be good in my favor to have someone work alongside the humans and their allies, as my eyes and ears... It has to be someone new, for many of them would not trust my sorceress, despite how influencing she can be.
[Which is just fine, for Vertigo needs Hannah to keep an eye on various other things for her anyway as there’s a bit of irritation that can be heard from her telepathic tone.]
I want Xargin and his drones gone from Nexus as much as they do. I, of course, wouldn’t expect them to start trusting me any time soon.
If I cannot use Matt Parkman again--then I just might have to search for someone else close to any of them... Or have someone become close to them, to convincingly be on their side. [Which won’t be any easy task as Vertigo glares more at Mun.] Since you’re far too occupied to just bring me that human, who had been a good help to me years ago, I will allow you to find someone else in my favor.
How about that for a compromise?
[The Nexus is just far too interesting to give up on claiming for herself. She WANTS that world, and will do whatever must be done to have “it”, to rule over “it”... Though, Vertigo still does not fully understand about this world’s sentience, nor is she aware of what Nexus wants to do to help all the good people over under her protective watch. (Mun’s managed to block off her mind using her authoress powers from Vertigo, so she won’t know all that. Whew.)]

There's no use running. Even if she run far, Vertigo's memory of what the woman looks like will be present in her own mind. She would only teleport to the human's location.
Her violet snake eyes flash in a golden glow a split second, then return to their original color. Vertigo is a bit amused as she smirks, standing--not at her full height--of seven feet.]
