I'll try not to keep you up too late. 'Kay? I'm just going to put up a summarized list.

1. Genesis! I hope to be with him again, real soon. It's been months! I want to tell him how I feel... I love him.

2. New friend that's from Middle Earth. Look, I don't mind helping him out, for he clearly does need help. Not only being kept from endangering himself in public, but what Cloud and I noticed about his prized possession. Nah, he's not so bad, once you look past his appearance. So I'm okay with this.

3. Vergil. I've got a strong feeling you're going to set me up for a bit of disappointment. ...As interesting as it may be to meet an alternate version of him, I'm not looking forward to what's going to happen soon. That, and having to explain...that freaky-scary stuff. You know what I mean. If I have to mention anything on the stuff I don't like thinking back on--no, that won't be fun.

3. Jack Frost. A potential good friend. He's very nice, and I think we'll have some good times together. It's not like I get to meet many nice immortals--so that part I can be grateful for. Just... You could have thought about something a little better on my part. Even if this is supposedly just a one-off, you still could have... Sigh.

4. Angelus. For real? Her pact partner's been around? Wow! Yeah, that's great. So, are you going to help her out? And not piss her off?

5. Seeing other friends again. Yeah, I'm glad to see Nathan again. I've missed him. I'd like to see Phil again, see how he's doin'. I'd like to get to know Cas more, and be there for Sam. :)

7. Last and certainly not least - Elsa! Can't forget, I'd like to be there for her more too. Be sure to remind her mun on that.

I am curious who this friend from Middle-Earth is.

[Oh cool, it's Thorin! She smiles, pleasantly surprised to see him. It's been a while since they've last spoken!]

His name is Smeagol. Do you know of him? He and I had just recently met, and my Mun also invited his over to where the Nexus world takes place. [She doesn't hide the bit of sarcastic Oh, boy in her expression.]

I am well. Although, I yearn for my kingdom and the precious gold within it. [Not good news for anyone, sadly. The gold nearly turns his head in the end.]

[There's a curious eyebrow raise as he speaks of homesickness--for Mari can relate. She's missed her old home world for a long time, when she first had to make a new life in Nexus. Now she misses the life she's had with Genesis and her other family over there.]

What about your people? Don't you miss them, too?

[yeah, me too. I was really annoyed when it suddenly died around a week ago.]

How does this Smeagol know me, since I have never even heard his name before? Thief? Do you mean Bilbo the burglar? Is this Smeagol a halfling also? [Hobbits could be so nosy at times.]

Of course I miss my kin. More than anything.

[Mari shrugs, uncertain.] Well, Smeagol is smaller in size, if that's what you mean by halfing. [When Thorin says the thief's name, she nods.] Yeah, that's his name! Smeagol mentioned it...

[It's good that he misses the other dwarves. She's glad he doesn't just care about the gold. She'd think there would be something wrong about him if he did... She nods empathetically.] I miss my family just the same.

Or maybe not for long because I just reunited with my friend Cloud. Maybe I'll see the others really soon. [Yep, obviously hopeful for that.]

Aye, the Halfling or hobbit, as they are also known. I am travelling with one such Halfling at the moment. Bilbo Baggins from Bag End, otherwise known as our burglar. [Although, he hadn't done that much burgling so far.]

Cloud? Tis an odd name for a person. What manner of creature is this Cloud?

[Mari's amused at his question.] He's a human, someone I've known for a decade now. He's like a younger brother I've never had, sort of.

He's a good guy to get along with.

I'm glad you're back to where you're supposed to be, Thorin! Nexus must have realized how important it was for you to be back there.
