[Either way, Ace himself is twitchier when he's worried that certain people are trying to do things to protect him -- whether he wants it or not. And of course, Marineford only made that worse.]

[ Zoro can rest easy, if there's something he wants, as far as Luffy's concerned he can pursue his goals at his own pace. Setting limits on the dreams of his nakama is just not something he does, let alone approves of.

Nah, it's Ace that has his brain scratching static like a defective Den Den Mushi. Pinching his own arm won't do much for a rubber man, but he tries. ]

[ Maybe the reality hasn't sunk in yet. Maybe Luffy thinks he's dreaming. Maybe he's just still reeling and the overflowing feelings will come belatedly, like with a certain other reunion.

In any case, trying to stick his hands through Ace is not working. This is the weirdest dream he's ever had! And considering some of the fungal growth he's managed to stick in his mouth during his adventures, that's really saying something. ]

they have no idea who you are or where you are going or indeed if they'll ever go there (most likely not), but it definitely seems as if they're all on board for this right now. Whatever it is. Who are you?

They're just going to stand really close and attempt not to loom too hard. What with the whole 'seven foot tall thing'.

[ There are a lot of people who tower over Luffy, to the tune of seven, ten feet, and even further up from there! And it's not like he's going to protest much the proximity, given his own inclination to invade personal space and stare too long at whatever's seized his interest.
