Argh! I can't believe I'm being constrained artistically and it's only day one and I'm not even sure what constrained means! We gotta think of something big to make up for this! It's a matter of crafts or death!

The cries of a young artist aren't beautiful but I know how to soothe them. I shall lend my skills and funds to this cause.

Lay 'em on me, sister! How much funds have you got? Is it more than eleven dollars? Oh! And what skills do you have in mind, are we talkin' stickers or markers or yarn...?

My artistry has ranged from poetry to sculpture to script-writing to various instruments. No doubt my previous experience will help in any of this modern craft. As for funds, well. [She takes out a wallet filled with... oh gods. It's at least fifty dollars.]

Hey, that almost kinda sorta rhymes! You know, in the beginning! Like table and taber! That's a good sign, rhyming names are really big in the crafty industry! Well. They should be, anyway.

Ah, they are similar. I''m not up to date on the industry but it would make sense.

Absolutely yes! Prepare your jaw for when it drops to the floor, perhaps with a really comfy cushion!

[And lo, Nero was thus introduced to a... gun thingy that sticks rhinestones onto things. What kind of things? ALL OF THEM.]

Ugh, out of everything terrible about this place, being constrained here is the worst. I mean, how am I going to be able to figure out mysteries and hunt down weird, spooky stuff if the only things I actually can hunt down is my mun's own inner demons? [That was an attempt at a joke sort of.]

I can't even stay in a game long enough to do some real investigating or mystery solving. That's like shoving a mechanic in a wooden box with nothing but a wrench and his own mind. It's inhumane!

Aww, is Dipper getting bored? Try to look on the bright side! Maybe all those inner demons are really, really messed up? Quality over quantity is more than a cliche, it's a fact of life!

Oh oh, I know what to do about those! We can organize a strike! I've seen them on TV. Refuse to do any work until they give you at least a hammer.

It's a thing. One time, at summer camp, one of my friends didn't get to make paper mache stuff with the rest of us and ulp!

I see this is a serious matter.

What can be done so that you avoid such a fate, you think?

Well, you need a lot of old newspapers and some gluey water, and some stuff to make up what you're sticking it to. I think I've seen balloons once!

That does not sound as if anything sturdy would come of it.

Hey, just because it sounds weak and flimsy doesn't mean it is! You'll see, once you apply the hairdryer ... or I guess you could just leave it over night... Anyway, when it dries, you've got a structure that will last for ages and ages!

[That gets an eyebrow raise. He still doesn't see how glue and paper can accomplish anything that'll last. Books aside, but those don't really count.]

What will you make? If it's supposed to last through the ages, it ought to be worthwhile.

Hmm, that's a good question! What kind of thing would you make, because I'm thinking masks. Maybe a parade float, but we'd need chicken wire and somebody's car for that....

Really?! [Gasp!] Then that means we definitely have to do something! Imagine living your whole life without knowing this! It'd be almost too much to bear!
