Yo, mun, long time! Man, your time-management and attention span's only getting worse through the years. Midlife crisis must be coming early, huh? You'd end up like Dadan soon enough.

Dadan's a cool old hag though, so I dunno what's your problem with that.
Anyway, thanks for letting me talk again, 'specially today. It's Ace's birthday, huh!? And there's a lot of him hanging 'round here, na? Hahaha! Still can't believe he's such a popular guy. Well, not sure if I'm gonna be able to talk to him today, but I know he's partying it hard today somewhere! And maybe Luffy's with him too! And... maybe they're with that older me, too. That'll be great! [pauses and then awkward shrugging] One can dream, na?
Hm. My birthday wish for him? Heh, does wishing for him not to drown when he falls asleep on his soup counts?

[Yeah. That silence is weird, and it makes Sabo frown. He can guess a lot of stuff in it, but hey, he's not touching those either.]

[It's true though... Even Ace normally takes like 800 times to get anything, just because he's WAY too stubborn to change.]

[Instead he just smirks a little evilly like an older brother at Sabo's aggravation, and then holds up a finger about the ramen with an even bigger evil grin.]

[And with the same grin, he briefly closes his eyes to concentrate on remembering, and thinking through the correct tastes, texture, and everything in order to literally bend reality around him. And with that, several bowls of ramen multiply all around them, to which Ace just sits cross-legged, and picks one up to drink it down.]
Dig in! [Vague gesture that Sabo can have as much as he wants, because well, they both know Ace is probably going to out-eat him hugely, but anyway.]
It's a trick I learned from Luffy's cook actually, in this place I'm in. But don't tell Lu. I want to surprise him.

Oh man, this is awesome! [Clapping his hands together.] Don't mind if I do!
[And dig in, he does, and with so much gusto! He's just finishing his second bowl when he pauses long enough to talk again.]
So Luffy's gonna be joining you where you are? He's gonna cram so much food in his mouth with a trick like this, y'know. Better have drinks nearby too, in case he chokes.
[Not like Sabo thinks it'll happen when he'd seen Luffy swallow giant salmon tails in one gulp, but his big bro instincts just can't help it.]

[A small laugh as Ace gulps down his bowl too.] Yeah, Sanji will go nuts.
Zoro's all stubborn -- have you met Zoro yet? Greenhaired swordsman, good guy. He protects Luffy the most. I punched him a lot for that, but he's still stubborn about it. [Ace's methods of testing people need work...] Anyway, he doesn't really like food conjured out of nothing like this. At first I thought that was just a superstition, but I think it's because he wants to make sure Sanji always feels needed, you know?
But they'll both have to work harder to keep up with Luffy. [Another laugh.] I've tried to keep them on their toes, but there's only so much even I can do in comparison.
I want to make a huge safari area though! A big giant island with dinosaurs and fierce monsters and fun things to hunt. I just have to make it safe enough that people who can't handle it don't go there accidentally.
There's these arrows this guy uses to keep people out of the maze for that reason though, so I think if I start studying under him I can learn it but--
[MAKES A FACE. STUDYING. STUDYING SABO, IT IS SO HORRIBLE. YOU WARNED HIM AND HE BELIEVED YOU AND NOW HE KNOWS!!!!!!]

[And he's just going to laugh some more, and when he's winding down, gives Ace a(n encouraging???) pat on the shoulder.]
Well, I know you're awful at it, but do your best anyway! Sounds like a fun place you're planning to make. Don't forget to add dragons, though! Dragons are a cool bunch. [Is that his secret dragon otaku showing early???]
Anyway, Luffy's nakama, huh? I met a few on that one place I've been before. From what I'm told, they've taken good care of Luffy, so don't be so hard on 'em! [Just shaking his head at your people skills.] Poor guys though, they actually believed you're a well-mannered guy. Guess they should know better now, huh?

Well mostly. A lot of the time.
[Seeing as he regularly breaks Sanji's brain almost daily, and don't even ask what he's done to Zoro.] Zoro's actually a little like Luffy, so manners are completely wasted on him. And the chef's known me for two years and still can't get over the fact that I have table manners unlike Lu. But I kind of helped him get his girlfriend with a lot of nudging, so he knows I'm not always polite.
[Sly grin.] But he's the easier of the two. [And the grin softens up almost instantly.] Because he reminds me of Thatch, one of my own nakama.

[Snorts.] Still?!! They must've known hella lot of rude people, then. [He listens at the additional story with a smile, though. Ace living his life, even if Sabo's got too little context of his stories, is always a welcome thing to hear about.] Haha, I'd count 'em and all your nakama lucky if they've seen you being polite even once. I never got to see that, y'know!

I bet dragons are pretty damn tasty, bro. I'll ask Marco next time I get a chance. He might know.
And yeah, they've only known rude people... they're Luffy's crew. Zoro told me that the first time they met half of their enemies Luffy just pointed out the worst thing possible about them. And you know how Luffy used to leave those I.O.U. treasure rocks at eat'n'runs? Well he still does. I mean if you're going to be rude, you have to at least run, not leave a forwarding address and signed confession! And he ricochets his crew around without warning them either. Once he ran Roronoa over with their own ship, pretty much flattened him into a tree. Do you have any idea how hard it is to keep that guy on his toes half as much as Luffy now? It's crazy! But so long as you aren't Luffy around them, they're pretty easily impressed.
But don't think you'll ever get any manners out of me. 'Cuz you won't. Pops and my crew didn't either, but that's for different reasons.
[As for the final question.... that is an adorable face little bro. It takes Ace way back. He's just going to chug more soup, lean back, and think quickly.]
You you. How have you been? What was that place like? Are you going back? Are you having fun? [Wry grin. He hasn't brought up Sabo's not!death or letter because NOPE, but what kind of a brother would he be if he didn't want to make sure Sabo was as equally safe and happy as Luffy?]

[He resumes eating, but soon almost spews out his soup all over again, shaking in laughter.] Same old Luffy, then! And you as well, actually. I'd have found it creepy if you two start going all over the place being all polite and careful like. More so 'round your nakama.
[Punches Ace's arm.] And yeah, 'round me as well, you jerk. I'm just glad both of you found crews who won't catapult you into the ocean and feed you to seakings, being rudeass bastards like that! [Pause.] I won't blame 'em if they tried, though.

Eh. I'm as good as I'll ever be.
[No need to mention how lonely he's been lately hanging around this limbo, and also jealously watching his older, stronger self reunite with Luffy in "the real world". All that, barely hoping he himself will be able to talk to his brothers again.]
But y'know, in that other place, I met Marco! He even adopted me as a brother too. That was a lot of fun. [He trails off, smiling a bit. Having someone else wanting him around for himself aside from Ace and Luffy was really nice.]
Can't go back though. Mun's got her head all muddled from midlife crisis to handle places like that.

I wanted to eat dragon, but Wano Island said they were probably extinct. Did you know they have techniques to cut fire there? Just so they can fight dragons! It's crazy! I'm gonna be in trouble if Zoro ever learns it... but I kind of hope he does, because he's already been in charge of making sure I don't let my fire spread too much.
[VERY lightly punches Sabo's arm. They used to be even on par, but ten years can make a difference and he means it more affectionately than violently, even if Ace does have a problem with confusing the two.] I'm not that rude anymore. Jeez. [He totally is.]
Midlife crisis, huh? Want me to whistle Marco down for you to say hi? He probably misses you. He gets stupid like that.
[Spoken with all the affection for his nakama that did actually kick him overboard for trying to kill their father, but also fished him back out and such.]
[But yeah, Ace feels you on the whole jealous of adult Sabo thing. Not that he'll ever admit it if he can avoid it okay. Mostly because he blames himself still. It's a thing.]
[For what it's worth, Ace would rather kidnap baby Sabo anyway. More fun.]
