My placement is wherever my employer puts me, Miss. Mundane. If you send me somewhere without her permission, I can't fully comprehend the results. [but boy will she be mad.]
The gap between the universes has to be filled before I go, anyhow. Mr. Hale produces Aperture Science hats and pins, but without the worlds confirmed being fully linked, it could become complicated fast.
The old theory that BLU and RED own Black Mesa and Aperture Science seems to either have been false or changed.
It might be best if I don't go.

A setting zhat, by zhe vay, amuses zhis mundane of mine.

Miss Mundane is enrolling me in a plot to 'gain a Valve cast', apparently. Among the recent arrivals are Aperture Science AIs, which has triggered her interest. She finds it amusing too.

[Hehe, poor thing. Still, Medic chuckles a little.]
Zhat ist an amusing goal to vork tovards at least. Und yet mein mundane asks himself how our colleagues from Aperture Scienze are going to handle zhese... Pokemon. He assumes some trainers may try to capture zhem instead.

[Yeah, she sees it as 'petty' to steal their Pokémon. Pauling's used to much more intricate plots to get what TFIndustries wants, instead of just stealing it.
Bribery, blackmail and lying is the way to go!]

[...and vivisect later, but... shhhh... you didn't hear that!]
I take zhis ist zhe first plaze your mundane has dezided to send you?

[Oh she knows what he's on about. She's observed him in surgery, remember? She does think his doves are quite pretty, albeit not suitable for surgery... but when did that usually matter? If one of them died, they'd only respawn anyway.]
It is.

[Oh, but he doesn't cut his own doves open. Odd as it may sound, he actually considers them something like his friends.]
Und does zhat not make you exzited somevhat at least? A distraction from our normal jobs... I learned zhat sort of zhing ist not too bad, actually.
Ugh. Just realized the their/there mistake in the last one. I'm not with it today. ;A;
[Tut tut. Friendships aren't condoled, you know?]
I quite enjoy my job, actually. A break could be refreshing, but I think I'll kind of miss it.
No worries. I do worse mistakes at times.
[Say that to his face~ ;) Have a suitable icon for that lol]
I zhink most of us enjoy zhe job ve do. Oder ve vould not be marching out on zhe field every single day. Yet... Some plazes offer distractions und alternatives zhat can actually help to not miss vhat ve left back home. At zhe very least you can consider it eine vacation.
♥
[She'll just say it to the Administrator's face. If the doves are distracting him, they'll sadly have to go. Luckily, Pauling never saw anything distracting about them! ... Other than the cooing later reported from the RED Scout's chest.]
You're always quite happy when I observe you. Your pay must effect your judgement too, though? [Hefty wages. Lucky him. And thank you for bringing it onto your job, Medic. She can use this conversation as a way of doing a little check up.]
Tsk tsk, tricky little Pauling, aren't we?
Vell... Ja. I certainly can not complain about finanzial problems. Yet, money alone vould not keep me vizh RED, I haff to admit zhat.
[Just a rather vague gesture with one hand. Medic has... Priorities after all. And nothing really to spend the money on... Aside from his birds.]
Zhe additional conditions vizhin my contract are vay more intriguing.
She's just doing her job.~
It doesn't surprise me that they appeal to you. [The contracts were made to be appealing to each class. Naturally, classes like the Scout didn't need much more than just the money on their contract.]
Aren't they all?
Vhat good vould zhe best payment be, if zhe job in question vould not allow for some... Personal research?
[And just how many other employers would allow the use of human test subjects even?]
