I'm a lot better than I was then, really. And I probably shouldn't've said anything.

Well, the Bucky I know would've told me if something'd got him down.

It's true, though. I was always pretending to be a lot tougher than I was.

But that's where I come in, Bucky! Say it ever gets -- heavy, say there's a load you can't bear on your own. You know I will.

And besides, I made it out alright. I had a lot of help.

I don't think you're supposed to say anything. Hell, I wasn't supposed to say anything, either.

But if you're telling the truth, now what do I say to make y -- him feel better than just 'fine'?

It's okay to feel fine every once in a while, you know.
