When you arrive, do you think you'll pick up your studies again? I doubt you'll find anything on the Protheans, but there's a lot to study on that space station.

I think I probably will. [When she says "probably", it comes out more like a "definitely".] It's hard to spend most of your time researching or gathering information and not immediately gravitate towards it again when presented with this kind of opportunity.

Let me know if you plan on excavating any ancient ruins on the planets we visit. I'll tag along.

[Yeah, that's why she went with him on almost every single mission. Being able to rip an enemy apart with biotics is pretty handy.

He shifts his weight from foot to foot and stays quiet for a moment.]

[He's hesitant (even after that first comment of his), mostly because goddammit he's in the minority here with all the female Shepard's running around, but he does step closer.]

[It's not like he knows what happened to everybody after that final run, so he doesn't want her showing up like he did, all bleeding and broken and shit.]
