Acnologia and I have a very complicated history. That is all I can say for now.

It is difficult to say. But that does appear to be the case, yes.

That man who came from the future was on to something, only those seven dragons he had brought through the Eclipse Gate might not have been enough. Those types of dragons were mere cannon fodder during the war that took place four hundred years ago.

Igneel might not even be able to defeat Acnologia. At least, not alone.

That was already terrifying on its own but to have something like Acnologia, is really scary. I hope that we can defeat it or find a way to.

Even I am unnerved by that monster.

That I cannot answer. I'm aware of Igneel's past with E.N.D., but I know very little about the other dragons that survived the war.

I see. Igneel-san-- Natsu-san's father would know more wouldn't he? I wonder if we'll be able to ask him questions.

It's terrifying that something like that-- could give off such a strong aura.

There's a reason he's King of the Fire Dragons. Of course, Acnologia is in a league of its own. Igneel can hold Acnologia off, but that may be the most he can do. At least, alone.

I hope that Igneel-san doesn't have to take on Acnologia on his own.

If it were possible, I would tell my demons to deal with Acnologia. But it seems that Marde Guille believes that Face will render him powerless, as well.

The Face project will continue, regardless of what the circumstances. Is that what you are saying, Zeref-san?

[ She mused her expression serious. ]

Frankly, it is out of my hands. It's all up to Kyouka, now.

There may be no other way to stop Acnologia. But I doubt they would go for it. The only thing they hate more than dragons, are humans.

You mean we have to stop them to stop Face?

Kyouka has used Organic Link Magic to merge herself with the central control lacrima for all of the Faces, after Sayla used her Curse to force Crawford Seam's corpse to remotely activate all of them. Kyouka did this to accelerate their detonation. However, this action will cost her her life, even if she succeeds.

{ Zeref nodded. }

Marde Guille in particular despises them, almost as much as he hates humans. In fact, the very idea of human Dragon Slayers seems almost offensive to him.

[ The girl replied seemingly not surprised but why would anyone go through such lengths to do something like this? Did Tartarus really hate all the humans? It was just confusing and she wasn't anywhere near the main battleground to even make any perceptions of it. She just furrowed her brows more. ]

Yes. She was willing to give her life for this cause.

It is very complicated, but yes. There is.

Conflict in the end is inevitable and we have to fight for our lives.

Lives are valuable. I don't want to see anyone dying for such a thing.

I doubt that even I could have convinced her not to give her life for this. They would do anything to please me. Even die.

That's a terrible thing to burden you with, even though Zeref-san doesn't seem to wish for their death.

I brought it upon myself. I am the one who created them, after all.

For what purpose did Zeref-san create such beings? Zeref-san must have a reason for it, right?

There came a point in time when nobody in Earth Land was either capable of, or willing to finally put an end to me. I realized that the only way I would ever die would be with my own hand. Unfortunately, Death Magic cannot be used on its own caster. That left Living Magic as my only option.

Humans couldn't stop me, so I created beings who could. E.N.D. was the closest I ever came to creating a demon whose power matches my own. And it would seem Marde Guille invented a new Curse to be used on someone like me, as well.

In the end, Zeref-san wishes for death? It must be painful to have to create such a thing. Death magic is scary. It sounds very complicated. There are things I still don't understand.

[ So all of this was for his death? It made her sad thinking about it really. ]

They will be explained in due time. Grandeeny has returned, after all. As has the rest of the dragons.
