Most likely, yes. Marde Guille was counting on Face working. It was the only way he could think of that would dispel the seal on Face's book.

From what I can tell, he is now the last surviving member of Tartaros, save for Franmalth and the Lamy clones. He was grievously wounded, however, and it will take a long time for him to recover without the use of Hell's Core.
