Mun's had a very though couple of days

My mun has been the one coming clean before. It actually led to her friendship becoming stronger.

Well, I don't want to pry into your mun's personal life. Specifically someone my mun felt to be a good friend turned out to have being putting on sort of a facade for the better part of the eight years they've known each other.

She finally told him and that's all well and good, but now he doesn't know where they stand, or if the sort of friendship she wants them to have is really even a friendship at all.

Mm, a friendship based on lies just hurts, more than anything. He's asking good questions, at least.

Has this girl said how she wants their friendship to be, or how she'll act from now on? How much she's willing to put into their relationship is really important.

He's had a chance to speak with her again, and it turns out what she meant was that she'd only been pretending about minor things because she didn't want to hurt his feelings, thinking he wanted things to be a certain way.

They've talked about it and he's let her know he actually doesn't mind, and just wants her to be herself. All in all it worked out nicely, I think.

It might not help, but your mun's not alone. My mun's friend had a similar situation with someone she thought was a friend last week. People change, but you can get through it.

I think his biggest issue is with how long this has apparently been going on. He's had suspicions in the past, but she always told him things were okay.

She's trying. She takes this stuff personality, so my mun is trying to remind her that it doesn't mean she's a terrible person.

But that's what they have me for. I'm the asshole in my mun's head, it's my job to say the tough stuff like that.

Why say sorry to me? It's no skin off my nose. I'm just not very good at consoling people. Anyhoo, things worked out. It had just been an emotional week for my mun, with the first anniversary of his father's funeral and all.
