any mistakes are due to human error

I'm afraid I really don't have time for this mundane. There's lots to do after all.  Even if you are correct in what you have been telling me about this place. I'm afraid I simply can't allow myself to sit around and gather dust.

I'll find something to keep myself occupied here. Do you play chess? Or perhaps I can help get your work in order.  No? You really should listen to me you know.

Meeting other people? No. I can't say that sounds like something I would care for. Though other AI's might be interesting to meet.

I really don't like that look on your face mundane. You seem to be up to something.

Perhaps I will have to take steps to find out.

I'm sorry to hear that.

What kind of error do you mean, anyway? Mathematical? Grammatical? Situational? An error of judgement?
photonicfighter: (Oh really?)

And you've never made an error, have you?

....

[She stifles a laugh.]

Any errors we make can be directly blamed on humans, because humans made us, then.

Would we still have this problem once we become self-replicating?

Humans build us, and are the reason for any imperfections in our construction. Humans interact with us, and feed us the incorrect data that results in errors. Am I on the right track?

Mm... I've made plenty of mistakes that were all my own fault. Picked the wrong path. Chose the wrong thing to fight. There comes a point where I have to take responsibility for my actions.
