I'm not meant to be a human. Don't think you get off the hook just because the plot wasn't opt-in-- you chose the game.

I shouldn't be doing things like working for the police, or making friends with coworkers, or babysitting little girls. I have one job, and that's being the spirit of fear. It's fundamentally wrong to include beings like me-- and Raava, for that matter-- in things like this. Whatever being is in charge here must be like us in some way, and they should understand that spirits aren't like mortals. Dragging us onto other worlds is disrespectful enough, but messing with us like this...

We have purpose in the world far beyond anything an individual human could have. Attempting to remove that purpose, even temporarily, goes too far.

I also agree with small child. You must be upset with a situation to get angry at it. It is a step from one to another. You were wronged, pushed aside for other people's blissful ignorance. I imagine that would of made you upset at first. Then eventually a rage filled up in you.

He has an eagerness to help. You did miss something about your conversation. He listened to you. He doesn't have a problem with your function it was the fact you pressed to take over everything to end it.

No I don't really think differently of you. Not in the way you think at least. I knew you would war with these would-be Guardians for how they treated you. I told you before I would raise my blade to them if necessary and I meant it. So no I don't expect you to apologize.

I think there needs to be a balance, but if the guardians of your world fight against you then what are you to do but return the blows?

I guard the people of the world against a killer, not war against someone whose only intent was to cause nightmares.

They created their enemy so only they can right their own wrongs. They were the ones who tipped the balance first, not you.

I think they should get you into popular belief once more and then disband themselves as a group. Then the only one who should feel any right to communicate with you is the one who creates positive dreams to keep that balance.

I will do my best. It seems they will not be easy to convince considering your only offense before they started warring with you was working within your function as a spirit of fear.

All the Guardians of my world would agree with me that you are not an enemy.

He's not like you though. He's not even a spirit of fear. He's a man who was infected by a group of nightmare beings called fearlings. They used him and warped them into their king. They had him kill the entire civilization he was meant to protect except for the man on the moon whom he wanted to warp into a creature like himself. He has done this to many people since.

Even if you don't feel compelled to help us stop him we will stop him. You won't be getting in the way of anything when that happens and you will be free to challenge people with their fears.

If you wanted to join the fight though I would welcome you as a comrade.
