I get what you're trying to do. I do, I really do, and I think it's got fantastic potential, because you and I both know that the past ten years have been complete shite for my people, and inclusion is clearly the obvious start - but is this the way to do it? Throwing me into a world where the one person I'll know won't actually know me?

It just seems cruel, and I didn't expect it of you.

[It is, but that depends on what he was doing before various worlds started kidnapping him. This is her first foray out of the one she grew up in, and some shared memories might be nice... though she supposes she'll manage with just her own, if she has to.]

"Hagrid's bloody chicken" was a very visual description, I thought.

[That's because Daphne can hold her Firewhiskey like nobody's business. And Tori... is just there, and it was rather a lot of fun, and she enjoyed playing his records and talking to Greg, who was still finding his voice without Vince... she'd danced with Blaise and Theo (one handsy, one very formal and correct) and chatted with Pansy (much quieter than she'd been in school) and had, at one point, mooned a little over the elegance of Mrs Malfoy.]

As though you'd have taken that class in seventh year, Draco, really.

[ it was a lovely party, to be sure. One he honestly didn't expect to be able to have. Surviving the war was an excellent present. ]

Not in a million years. It was a waste of my time.

It could have been structured a little better.

What would you have changed?

I'd have...less dangerous creatures, obviously. More practical things. But not boring.

Still, Hagrid's idea of 'not boring' involved Blast-Ended Skrewts. So obviously he's out, too.

More theory before the practical? What about combining it with Defense? A lot of creatures come up there, too.

That seems like a grand plan. And perhaps bringing in some sort of creature to defend against. The Boggarts come to mind. There were certainly worse classes than that one, that's for sure.
