I get what you're trying to do. I do, I really do, and I think it's got fantastic potential, because you and I both know that the past ten years have been complete shite for my people, and inclusion is clearly the obvious start - but is this the way to do it? Throwing me into a world where the one person I'll know won't actually know me?
It just seems cruel, and I didn't expect it of you.
--no, not cruel to me. To him. He might not have anyone to help him be-- ugh, whatever. Do what you want, I know you're going to anyway.
Just don't think I won't be making new rules.

Shush, you don't know, either.

Well, I do know that you're far too determined to let unfortunate circumstances get in the way of anything you might have planned. There's that, at least.

My plans are many and complex, and this will put something of a grinding halt on a few of them. [Some of us have university to attend, Draco, we can't all be locked away in other worlds.] Not that I can't work around that, of course.
no subject
You'll come up with new ones, I'm sure. Temporary ones, as it were.
Everyone ends up...making do when they're tossed into places like that.
no subject
I know; I'm nothing if not adaptable. I just... it all seems very disorganised, doesn't it?
[And kind of lonely, if she's any judge at all of wibbly wobbly timey wimey.]
no subject
Horribly so. Especially when things go slightly awry.

[Only a little bit drunk, once. That turned out well, though whether he'll remember this when she gets there - if she gets there - is another story.
She's not even sure if he knows her, now.]
no subject
I'm wounded, you know.
no subject
Isn't that a punch in the gut.Welp. Suck it up, Tori.]Cut to the quick? A blow to the very core? Will you recover?
no subject
I'm honestly not sure. The jury's still out right now. It feels like one of those stinging blows that stays with you. This could be the end for me.

You're a man of extremes, Malfoy. Master of the glorious understatement, yet completely capable of spinning a story the size of Hogwarts around the tiniest infraction. We can all learn from you.
no subject
You could. I'm truly talented, you know.
And just for the record, some of those infraction are hardly tiny. They can be exceedingly grandiose. To me, at least.

The common room held its collective breath while you regaled us with the tale of your narrow escape from a Hippogryff.
[Although she actually has an informed opinion about that, if he cares to hear it.]
no subject
It very nearly killed me, you know. Nice to know you were listening in at that point.
[ do not burst his bubble. ]
no subject
Except do.]
It was rather hard not to, to be perfectly honest. [Snerk.] You do have a way with words.
[She wasn't going to, as it happens. Tori is somewhat in agreement with Mister Malfoy that a Hippogryff is not appropriate live teaching material for thirteen year olds.]
no subject
And I think I was talking loudly enough for people up in Ravenclaw Tower to hear me.
[ ugh, brilliant. It's absolutely inappropriate. Who does that?! ]
no subject
Your tones could have been described as 'strident'.
[People not actually qualified to teach? She has plans ok.]
no subject
Good. Good. At least people were getting the picture, then.
[ fix the system!! ]
no subject
"Hagrid's bloody chicken" was a very visual description, I thought.
[That's the idea! Eventually. Somehow. Small steps.]
no subject
Would've been a bloodier chicken if I'd had my way. [ this smirk. It's subtle, but pleased with itself.
[ And she can absolutely do it. He believes in her. ]
no subject
Oh, please. It wouldn't have got to that point if you'd been a seventh year at the time, and you know it.
[--oh. /chuffed]
no subject
Well, maybe. There's really no way to find out, though.
